Mr. Awasthi, Deputy Director General, Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industries,  carries two decades of progressive professional experience as an economic analyst, development expert, economic journalist, researcher and the teacher. He has worked extensively on mainstreaming and localizing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and UNDAF in Nepal as an Advisor of United Nations in Nepal. He has reported and wrote articles extensively on fiscal/monetary policies, development issues, foreign assistance and investment, hydropower, regional trade agreements, WTO, industry, banking and stock market for both television and print media. Experience in managing member-based not for profit organization.
