The Consumer Protection Act of 2075 is the primary law governing consumer protection in Nepal. Its goal is to uphold and defend the fundamental rights of consumers. It addresses issues with high-quality products, services, and damage compensation. The Government of Nepal is required to carry out a range of tasks, including policy implementation, supply system facilitation, agency coordination, and more, in order to control the supply, cost, quality, measurement, labeling, and promotion of goods and services.
